Oh No! Kaka can’t really be going to Real Madrid!
Posted on June 9th, 2009 No commentsWell it looks as though it’s definite – Ricardo Kaka, arguably the best footballer in the world at the moment has brought his career to a grinding halt by signing for Real Madrid.
£59 million is the record transfer fee, so work out Kaka’s cut of that, his weekly wages of a quarter of a million, and that is the price Kaka places on his talent. For a few (well, rather a lot of) quid, he packs in his playing career, lounges around in Madrid doing tricks with the ball, being a celebrity, getting fat and doing anything except play the ethereal football he was put on this earth to play.
Poor Kaka, I feel sorry for him, even with all his cash.
Poor old Barsley won’t get a look in either – no, Kaka won’t be wearing the Barnsley shirt any time soon, as the Working Men’s Club collection for his transfer has only managed to raise £59.52p and half a dozen foreign coins with holes in them.
So get the Kaka AC Milan shirt now before they’re gone. The Real Madrid Kaka shirt will be available very soon, of course, but now it’s clear that AC Milan was Kaka’s peak, and the AC Milan Kaka shirt will be your perpetual reminder of just how great the man was. Before he joined Real Madrid.
